A Partnership Built on Excellence

Kingsbury Farms

Gerald and Mairead Mackle, founders of Kingsbury Farms, are seasoned entrepreneurs with a deep love and understanding of farming. Gerald’s background in agricultural innovation and renewable energy stretches back to the 1990s, when he invested in a ranch in Kingsbury, Texas, driven by a belief in a more sustainable farming future. Mairead founded and led Tarasis Enterprises into national prominence, establishing award-winning ventures across health, social care, and community development. Their work is grounded in a shared belief: that business should serve both people and the planet. Véire, the wagyu brand of Kingsbury Farms, reflects that ethos.

We blend a deep-rooted love of farming with decades of business expertise, uniting agricultural passion with entrepreneurial precision.

GERALD MACKLE

It is the latest expression of their commitment to meaningful, values-led enterprise — a premium Irish Wagyu brand built on regenerative practices, net carbon-zero ambitions, and circular systems that turn waste into renewable energy. To realise this vision, the Mackles collaborated with experts in ruminant nutrition, meat quality, and supply chain integration. Together, they are developing beef that is rich in healthy omega-3s, consistently marbled, and raised with an uncompromising commitment to animal welfare and environmental stewardship.
